You will better understand why our number one level of success is our team. With a median age of 39, our 17-person staff is college educated and nearly 35% are bilingual. Most have prior experience in their field as well as insightful knowledge from other professional careers.


Large_Head_shot_with_title-4.jpgTodd Kramer is the Director of Quality for Secure Components.

Since 2001, with more than a decade of experience in the industry, Todd provides the visionary insight that keeps the company on track. In addition to managing the company’s strategic relationships, Todd is an expert in counterfeit risk mitigation and avoidance. Todd is recognized as one of today’s foremost authorities on the issue of counterfeit parts and the risks they create. He has personally engaged the counterfeit epidemic as a participant of the SAE G-19C IECQ Working Group 06 Committee focused on eradicating the counterfeit epidemic. These groups help to guide the process for certification to standards such as the SAE AS5553 & AS6081 counterfeit avoidance, detection, mitigation, and disposition of electronic components.

Todd co-formed and is the Chairman of the United States National Committee (USNC), International Electro-technical Commission Quality System (IECQ), Distributors Advisory Group (DAG) who serves as the voice for distributors and brokers at the national and international level. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Communications,  Todd has become one of the industry's most recognized spokesman addressing this critical issue of Counterfeit Mitigation.

Needless to say, Todd heads up Secure's extremely robust Quality Assurance Programs with a passion and knowledge that quickly reassures our customers of the company's commitment to excellence and performance. While touring the nation speaking on quality and counterfeit issues, Todd still finds the time to oversee the company's day-to-day operations and works closely with all departments within the company. Growing up as a New York sports fan, lots of time is spent steering his two sons in the direction of being strong individuals. One must possess strong character to root for the N.Y. Mets, Giants, Knicks, and Rangers and live in Philadelphia.

Stephan was born in the United States but has close family ties in Germany. He speaks both English and German and has dual citizenship in both countries. A graduate of Penn State University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Mineral Economics. Stephan is extremely knowledgeable in quality engineering and process management. He was instrumental in the development of all the internal process documentation required for Secure Components quality certifications.

In his role as COO, Stephan oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations of Secure Components. As a former agent for the National Football League, Stephan is an expert negotiator and team builder. A native of Philadelphia, he is an avid sports fan and plays on several local ice hockey leagues. He resides outside Philadelphia, with his wife, three children, and dog Boozer.

Christine is responsible for the approval, certification, and compliance evaluation of all new and existing vendors. A native of Ohio, Christine attended Ohio State University, graduating magna cum laude with a BS in Psychology and Pre-Med at the age of 20. She began her career as a teacher in Florida.

Recruited to the industry in 2001, Christine has led an impressive career in both buying and selling electronic components and hard-to-find material for aerospace defense contractors. Her extensive knowledge and network for procurement are the backbone of our procurement team. Christine enjoys dancing, backpacking, traveling, and caring for her animals. She lives in York, PA.

Travis oversees the company’s outside sales force as well as all internal customer service, marketing, hiring, and training. Leveraging his training from the U.S. Navy as a submariner aboard the USS Nebraska, SSBN 739(B), he brings military-like discipline and urgency to the Secure Components sales team. His training in life-critical mechanical applications and military supply chain support bring valuable experience to meeting the needs of both our military and commercial clients. After completing his military service, Travis began a career in technical sales of hydraulic and pneumatic sealing solutions. For the past 8 years, he has specialized in selling and purchasing hard-to-find electronic components, mil-spec hardware, and sub-assemblies to the DoD and prime contractors.His passion for learning and teaching personal development has enabled Secure Components to establish a sales force that exudes high ethics and commitment toward assisting our clients in achieving the success of their mission. In addition to his military training, Travis holds an associate’s degree in Science from York College of Pennsylvania. Travis enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, and backpacking with his dog Zip. He resides in York, PA.



Large_Head_shot_with_title-3.jpgPatrick Flannery serves as the lead for Quality Control. 

Patrick brings military style discipline to Secure’ s Quality Control department by serving as our Quality Control Lead. In this role, he is responsible to assure our shipping/receiving/inspection processes protect the company and its clients by assuring strict adherence of our (CAP) Counterfeit Avoidance Plan, built on the foundations of our SAE: AS9120-A and AS6081 standards. His experience with life critical applications drives his aptitude to assure “attention to detail” in every step of our process. This discipline is rooted in time spent in the United States Marine Corps. As a TOW gunner in Combined Anti-Armor Teams, first with the Ground Defense Security Forces Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and then with 2nd Battalion 2nd Marines in Camp Lejeune, NC, Patrick understands the importance of discipline and compliance to follow orders. He began his civilian career by spending 10 years at B.K Mechanicals, Inc. It was here that he was recruited for a coordinator position for WM Robotics, a leading specialty manufacture of electronics/robots used by Military, Law Enforcement and specialty contractors. For five years he worked as a Quality Inspector of electronic and mechanical components in the company’s shipping and receiving department. Patrick and his wife, Rhiannon, live in Red Hill, PA.



Sales Force

She is the interface to this critical sector of business for the company. She ensures that our clients are well versed in the value that Secure offers as a partner in their success. Additionally, she is responsible for spearheading the successful completion of the current business we have with them. Her attention to detail and exceptional organizational and people skills has made Jackie a rising star in our company.

A native of Central Pennsylvania, Jackie graduated from Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA, with Bachelor of Science. Prior to Secure Components, Jackie spent 10 years in the veterinarian field. As the Program Director of the Veterinary Technician Program at Stautzenberger College in Ohio, she honed many of the teaching and organizational skills that she now contributes to the success of the company and her clients. Jackie and her husband live near Lancaster, PA, with their beloved 10-year-old German Shepherd rescue, Heidi.

Deby works as an Account Manager supporting specific DLA, DoD, NATO and International Defense and Aerospace Contractors as their main point of contact with Secure Components. As the Account Manager she is the key contact responsible for supporting the Supply Chain personnel responsible for procuring material that is not available via the traditional procurement system and therefore requires additional sourcing support. These situations are often highly critical to the clients business and requires a timely response. Failure to properly respond with the utmost urgency could result in the Warfighter being unable to complete their mission. Deby’s, determined personality, and attention to detail,  combined with her strong skillset as a former purchasing agent, provide her clients with the assurance that their needs will be handled in the most urgent and professional manner. Deby recently graduated Millersville University with a BA in International Studies. She is a proud member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Her love for languages is evident in her fluency in English, German, and Romanian, and a working knowledge of Italian and Spanish. As a passionate drummer and percussionist, she has played in diverse orchestras and bands performing at times for thousands of people throughout her life. Deby enjoys travelling, mountain-biking, and hiking with her Saint Bernard Greta. Deby lives near Reading, PA with her husband and daughter.

Alex is the lead Sales Support Specialist and his primary duty is to backstop the sales force and ensures they are prepared to fulfill Secure Components customer satisfaction guarantee for each and every client. His ability to obtain knowledge and quickly apply it makes him the "go to guy" when someone is having a hard time deciphering an issue that requires technical expertise or troubleshooting. Alex works as the direct assistant for the Director of Sales and Marketing by supporting the Director in many ways to assure that the Sales Force remains on task and has what they need to execute their main objectives that makes our team successful. Born in Jersey City, NJ, about 30 minutes away from MetLife Stadium, Alex is an avid NY Giants fan. Alex also enjoys reading books on self-improvement and health. He starts each day, at the gym lifting weights with his father. Most importantly Alex is a family man —he works to keep a smile on his daughter's face (hopefully without spoiling her) all taking place in Norristown, PA.



Purchasing Team

Large_Head_shot_with_title-9.jpgAndy has been with Secure Components for 6 years and has industry experience in both sales and procurement.

As a senior buyer, Andy is relied on heavily to procure some of our most challenging requirements. After years of networking in the procurement world, the relationships he has cultivated have opened significant opportunities for our company.

Born in Seoul, Korea, Andy is bilingual and can speak Korean and English. This is a powerful asset as we broaden our international business relationships. Additionally, his keen understanding of market values for obsolete components is an irreplaceable asset to our purchasing team. An alumnus of Penn State, Andy currently lives in Conshohocken, PA. He is an accomplished guitar player and an avid art enthusiast. He can often be found competing in both ice and roller hockey throughout Philadelphia.



Large_Head_shot_with_title-10.jpgJesse serves dual roles at the company. His primary role is Buyer for the Purchasing team and editor for company documents and marketing material.

Referred to on our team as “Deacon,” his strong background in Project Management, Editing, and Microsoft Office skills serve our team well. Jesse is one of those folks that can be relied on to proficiently complete any task that is needed. His positive attitude brings fun and inspiration to our team. Born in Cincinnati, Jesse attended York College of Pennsylvania, earning a BA in History. He has extensive literary skills and is considered Secure’s “go-to guy” for editing all important correspondence and press releases for the company. Enjoying camping, Frisbee golf, and photography, Jesse resides in York, PA with his dog Bosco.

She performs dual roles as both Administrator and Expediter. Born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, Carol brings extensive administrator experience to the team. A fierce multitasker, she proficiently accomplishes many jobs that are essential to our success. Earning a degree in Hotel Management from Montgomery County Community College, Carol utilizes her people skills and years of experience as an Administrator/Office Manger to perform her role. Responsible for invoicing, paying bills, reconciling accounts in QuickBooks, wire transfers, escrows, and negotiating customer payment terms, she is heavily involved in many aspects of the company. On the expediting front, Carol is the liaison between the Procurement Management Team, Quality Control, and our suppliers. By interfacing with our suppliers, she ensures prompt delivery and facilitates freight deliveries and pickups. Additionally, she is responsible for uploading ERAI and GIDEP Counterfeit Awareness Notices to our internal system. At home, Carol enjoys reading, gardening, and watching old movies with her husband near Pottstown, PA.



Information Technology

With more than 13 years of IT experience, John ensures we have all the technical tools necessary to delivery great service to our customers on a consistent and reliable basis.

As a Certified Microsoft, Cisco, and Fortinet IT professional, his abilities contribute greatly to ensuring that our entire network is functional and secure. Earning a bachelor’s in English Literature from The College of New Jersey, John continued his education at the University of Georgia, working towards a master’s degree. In his spare time, John enjoys playing volleyball, off-road biking, and supporting his alma mater, the Georgia Bulldogs. John resides with his wife and two children in Morrisville, PA.
